Bonnot Paris selects its emeralds at source, notably in Jaipur, the world's foremost trading hub for precious stones: warm, luminous greens from Colombia, deep blue-tinged greens from Zambia, every stone certified by an independent laboratory with any treatment declared in full transparency. Bonnot Paris selects its rubies directly through its offices in Sri Lanka and Bangkok: Burmese rubies with their legendary pigeon's blood colour, and Mozambique rubies , often unheated. A corundum with a hardness of 9/10, second only to diamond, it endures through generations without losing its brilliance — and comes in far more than blue: teal, pink, padparadscha, yellow, green, violet and orange. Bonnot Paris purchases its sapphires directly from its sourcing markets in Sri Lanka and Madagascar. Each stone is presented with its treatment information and available laboratory report (SSEF, GRS, ICA, Bellerophon, depending on the stone); diffusion and filling treatments do not meet our selection criteria.
