As artisan jewellers in Paris, Maison Bonnot welcomes you to its premises in the capital for a consultation dedicated to your project. This is an important step, allowing you to share your wishes and ideas with us for the creation of your bespoke piece of jewellery. This appointment marks the beginning of the creative process and, naturally, we discuss the fascinating subject of precious or semi-precious stones that may interest you.
As jewellery manufacturers in Paris, we create a variety of pieces of jewellery to suit every taste, for example, engagement rings or sapphire wedding bands.
Step 1: Discovery consultation
Please note that this initial discovery consultation can take place in Paris or remotely, if that is more convenient for you. In addition, we also offer gemmological expertise and jewellery services in Angers.
Step 2: Choosing the stone
Once you have made your choice regarding the stone’s main characteristics, we present you with several gems that match your preferences, taking your budget into account. We source all our stones directly, without intermediaries, and each comes with a laboratory certificate.
Step 3: Design development
This is the stage at which our designers come into play, enabling us to offer you different styles. Whether it is a diamond engagement ring or another piece of jewellery, the sketches are based on your vision. You will be able to choose the one that satisfies you most.
Step 4: Craftsmanship
Crafting can begin once you have approved the jewellery design. It is an artisanal process involving a total of four craftspeople. Each possesses the expertise required for a specific aspect of jewellery creation. The crafting takes approximately 4 weeks and concludes with the polishing stage.
Maison Bonnot Paris was founded by François Deprez and named in tribute to his grandfather, Jacques Bonnot, a professor of hypokhâgne. By giving his Parisian jewellery business this name, he honours a remarkable legacy, for Jacques Bonnot did not merely impart academic knowledge. He shared a vision of the world, professional rigour and a passion for work well done. Bonnot Paris draws inspiration from this to offer far more than simply jewellery: a true experience, together with a meaningful story behind every creation.
François Deprez is a gemstone dealer with a passion for coloured precious stones. Through the creation of bespoke jewellery in Paris, not only is every stone meticulously selected, but each creation is also conceived as a work of art in its own right. Attention to detail and the pursuit of perfection were also principles that guided Jacques Bonnot’s teaching.

J'ai contacté la bijouterie Bonnot car je souhaitais un saphir Padparadscha, qui est assez rare. Toute la transaction a été faite à distance et s'est très bien passée. Excellente expérience avec Bastien pour la conception de notre bague de fiançailles sur mesure. Il a été disponible, les échanges ont été fluides et efficaces.
