Bonnot Paris was founded by François Deprez, a precious-stone dealer. This profession changes everything for you: you choose the stone, or stones, that will be set in your ring. We purchase them ourselves at source, in Sri Lanka, Bangkok and Jaipur, with no intermediary between the source and you. Each stone is documented according to its value, with a report from a recognised independent laboratory (GIA, SSEF, LFG...) certifying its nature and any treatments.

Whether for a diamond engagement ring or a ring set with a sapphire, emerald or another coloured stone, the process is the same. We design your ring with you, in our showroom at 40 rue des Mathurins or remotely. It is then handcrafted in 18-carat gold or platinum by the artisans of our Bangkok workshop, one of the world’s leading jewellery centres.

From choosing the stone to the final finishes, each stage is entrusted to a specialist, and you follow your creation through to delivery.

We then present you with stones that match your project and your budget. With a gemstone expert who has a strong network and works through short supply chains, it is easier to obtain the most beautiful stones at better prices. This is also a good way to promote ethical practices in the sourcing of precious stones.

Afterwards, it is up to you to select the ring design you prefer from several drawings. Once all the details meet your expectations, we begin crafting your jewel.
