Originally, a passion

From his childhood in the Jura, the cradle of lapidary cutting at the beginning of the 20th century, François Deprez was captivated by the art of lapidary cutting.

His proximity to Geneva reinforced this passion: at the age of 7, he discovered the famous Rue du Rhône and its renowned jewelers. This experience fueled in him a persistent desire to become a merchant and found his own jewelry house.
