At Bonnot Paris, every stone is selected for its rarity, clarity and ethical provenance, ensuring full traceability, exceptional quality and fair pricing.

Contrary to popular belief, sapphire is not only blue: it exists in virtually every colour of the spectrum, with the exception of red — which is known as ruby, even though it belongs to the same mineral species (corundum). At Bonnot Paris, we work with seven main colours:
There are also white sapphires (colourless), black sapphires, and fancy sapphires with intermediate hues (orange, golden-brown, blue-green). A remarkable optical phenomenon: some sapphires display a colour change depending on the light source (blue in daylight, violet under incandescent light) — these are known as colour-change sapphires, and are among the most valuable of all.
This chromatic diversity makes sapphire one of the most versatile precious stones in jewellery — each colour carrying its own rarity, its own symbolism and its own price per carat.
Every creation begins with a personal consultation — in Paris, in Angers, or by video call — to understand your wishes, your story and your budget.
Our experts guide you through the selection of stones and the development of your jewellery design.
Our designers then produce several sketches to help you visualise the piece.
Once the stones and design have been approved, our master jewellers craft your creation by hand in our workshops, to the highest standards of excellence of Maison Bonnot Paris.

Yes, all our stones are certified by renowned laboratories such as Bellerophon, ICA GemLab, London Gem Lab, and others, guaranteeing their authenticity and exceptional quality.
