Bi-Colour Sapphire Engagement Ring
Eren’s bi-colour sapphire engagement ring was entirely custom-made around a rare stone with natural colours. Inspired by antique jewellery, this creation showcases a superb bi-colour sapphire accompanied by natural diamonds. The combination of yellow gold, vintage details and this exceptional stone gives rise to a ring full of character, blending timeless elegance with the charm of bygone days.
Eren’s brief
Eren wanted an engagement ring inspired by antique creations, while incorporating an uncommon stone. The natural choice was a bi-colour sapphire, whose natural hues create an utterly unique effect. To enhance this stone, natural diamonds and a yellow gold setting with classic lines were added to complete the creation.
The 1.60-carat bi-colour sapphire
The central bi-colour sapphire weighs 1.60 carats and was cut into an oval by our partner lapidaries. Unheated, it comes from Madagascar. This stone is distinguished by the natural coexistence of several colour nuances, creating a subtle interplay of contrasts that evolves according to the lighting. Each bi-colour sapphire is absolutely unique, as no two colour distributions are alike. This rarity makes it a particularly sought-after stone among lovers of original gemstones. With a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale, sapphire retains all its beauty over the years. All our stones are certified by independent or international gemmological laboratories.
The ring in detail
The bi-colour sapphire takes centre stage in the ring. It is accompanied by F/VS-quality natural diamonds, which enhance its brilliance while allowing its natural nuances to express themselves fully. The 750 thousandths yellow gold setting echoes the codes of antique rings, with elegant and timeless lines that highlight the unique character of this creation. The result is a refined engagement ring, both authentic and resolutely original.
