Padparadscha engagement ring for Dimitri
Dimitri’s padparadscha ring showcases our bespoke expertise. Indeed, it honours one of our favourite stones. This Madagascan padparadscha sapphire reveals its highly sought-after pinkish-orange hue. What is more, this unique creation enriches our high jewellery achievements.
Dimitri’s brief
Dimitri contacted us to create a bespoke ring. He dreamed of one of our favourite stones: the Madagascan padparadscha. We therefore envisioned a daisy-style ring in 750 yellow gold. Natural diamonds further enhance the centre stone. Finally, this creation reflects timeless luxury and true artisanal expertise.
The 1.18-carat padparadscha sapphire
The centre sapphire weighs 1.18 carats. Moreover, it comes from Madagascar. Indeed, the padparadscha is the rarest of sapphires. It is also the only one to bear a proper name, inherited from Sinhalese. Its colour evokes the lotus flower and the sunset. In addition, its hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale ensures excellent durability. This stone is therefore perfectly suited to everyday wear.
The ring in detail
The oval-cut padparadscha takes centre stage in the ring. Surrounding it, a halo of round diamonds forms a delicate daisy motif. Indeed, these natural diamonds are of F/VS quality. They combine a near-colourless hue with beautiful clarity. Furthermore, the 750/000 yellow gold setting enhances the stone’s rosy nuances. Finally, the ensemble balances romance with classic refinement.
