This timeless creation draws on the codes of the solitaire, a great classic of fine jewellery, while revealing the unique character of a rare stone from Madagascar. Cédric’s brief
Cédric wanted a simple, elegant and timeless engagement ring, capable of highlighting an original coloured stone. His choice naturally fell on a yellow gold solitaire, whose clean lines immediately draw the eye to the sapphire. The aim was to create a refined piece of jewellery, easy to wear every day, while retaining a strong identity thanks to the exceptional colour of the centre stone.

The 1.19-carat teal sapphire
The central teal sapphire weighs 1.19 carats and was cut into an oval by our partner lapidaries. Unheated, it comes from Madagascar, now recognised as one of the finest origins for teal sapphires. This sapphire variety captivates with its unique shades, ranging between deep blue and intense green. Depending on natural or artificial light, the stone reveals different reflections, giving it a distinctive personality. Teal sapphires have enjoyed genuine enthusiasm in recent years thanks to their original colour and great rarity. Finally, their hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale ensures excellent resistance for everyday wear. All our stones are certified by independent or international gemmological laboratories.

The ring in detail
The teal sapphire takes centre stage in this creation and reveals all its beauty thanks to a 750‰ yellow gold solitaire setting. The deliberately understated lines focus all attention on the centre stone and its natural shades. The yellow gold brings a warm touch that subtly contrasts with the cool tones of the sapphire, enhancing its brilliance.
