Belkheir’s yellow sapphire engagement ring was custom-made to showcase a luminous and particularly rare gemstone. Its modern design pairs a magnificent unheated yellow sapphire with a delicate accompaniment of natural diamonds, creating an elegant composition in which the gemstone’s sunny colour naturally takes centre stage.

Belkheir’s brief
Belkheir wanted a contemporary engagement ring centred around an original coloured gemstone. The choice fell on a yellow sapphire, appreciated for its luminosity and uncommon character. To enhance this exceptional gemstone, we imagined a modern white gold setting accompanied by natural diamonds that intensify its brilliance without concealing its colour.

The 1.77-carat yellow sapphire
The central yellow sapphire weighs 1.77 carats and was cut into an oval by our partner lapidaries. Unheated, it comes from Sri Lanka, an origin renowned for the exceptional quality of its sapphires. Its natural yellow colour offers luminous nuances that vary slightly according to the intensity of the light. Rarer than the traditional blue sapphire, the yellow sapphire captivates with its warm brilliance and understated elegance. Like all sapphires, it has a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale, ensuring excellent resistance to daily wear. All our gemstones are certified by independent or international gemmological laboratories.

The ring in detail
The yellow sapphire takes centre stage in this modern creation and reveals all its luminosity thanks to an accompaniment of F/VS-quality natural diamonds. The 750 thousandths white gold setting provides considerable contrast and perfectly enhances the sunny colour of the central gemstone. The contemporary lines of this ring give it an elegant and refined style that will appeal to lovers of unique jewellery and rare precious stones.
