Hind’s blue sapphire engagement ring was custom-made around a magnificent natural sapphire from Sri Lanka. This creation draws on the timeless codes of the solitaire to fully showcase the beauty and intensity of the centre stone. Understated, elegant and refined, this ring transcends trends and celebrates one of the finest classics of jewellery.

Hind’s brief
Hind wanted a timeless engagement ring, showcasing a natural blue sapphire in an elegant and discreet setting. Her choice naturally fell on a yellow gold solitaire, whose clean lines allow all attention to be focused on the stone. The aim was to create a lasting piece of jewellery, easy to wear every day and capable of being passed down through generations without losing any of its elegance.

The 1.28-carat blue sapphire
The central blue sapphire weighs 1.28 carats and was cut into an oval by our partner lapidaries. Unheated, it originates from Sri Lanka, an origin recognised worldwide for producing some of the finest blue sapphires. Its intense, luminous colour reveals its full depth according to the light and gives the stone remarkable brilliance. Blue sapphire remains one of the most emblematic gemstones in jewellery, prized for its timeless elegance and great rarity. With a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale, it offers excellent resistance to everyday wear. All our stones are certified by independent or international gemmological laboratories.

The ring in detail
The blue sapphire takes centre stage thanks to a 750-thousandths yellow gold solitaire setting that reveals the full richness of its colour. The understated, balanced lines of this creation allow the stone to command the entire scene, while offering optimal wearing comfort. The combination of yellow gold and the sapphire’s deep blue creates an elegant contrast that makes this ring a great classic of jewellery.
