Ludovic wanted a bespoke engagement ring centred around a rare gemstone. We therefore selected a 2.03-carat Madagascan teal sapphire. Moreover, he dreamed of a colourful and romantic creation. Finally, our workshop imagined a double halo to enhance the centre stone.
The central teal sapphire weighs 2.03 carats. Furthermore, it comes from Madagascar, its country of origin. Indeed, its chameleon-like colour blends deep blue with luminous green. What is more, this hue changes according to the light, making each stone unique. Thus, teal sapphire is among the most sought-after varieties. Moreover, this gemstone is unheated, a guarantee of authenticity and a major asset in today’s market. Finally, its hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale ensures excellent resistance to everyday wear.
The teal sapphire occupies the heart of the ring. Around it, a first circle of natural mauve sapphires highlights the centre stone. Next, a halo of round diamonds forms a delicate daisy motif. Indeed, these natural diamonds are of F/VS quality. Thus, they combine a near-colourless hue with beautiful clarity. Moreover, the white gold setting enhances the stone’s blue-green nuances. Finally, the overall design combines romance with contemporary refinement.
