Marie’s brief

Marie contacted us to create a bespoke anniversary ring with a sapphire in soft, romantic hues. She was looking for an exceptional, unheated stone, set in a vintage-style creation reminiscent of antique rings. Furthermore, the setting was to enhance the centre stone within a luminous floral setting. Our workshop therefore designed a piece combining retro inspiration with timeless refinement.

The 1.53-carat peach sapphire

The central peach sapphire weighs 1.53 carats and comes from Madagascar. Indeed, this stone is unheated, which is a major asset in today’s high jewellery market. Its unique colour combines shades of pink and pastel orange, evoking the flesh of a ripe peach. Moreover, its hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale guarantees excellent resistance to daily wear. The unheated peach sapphire remains one of the most sought-after varieties among lovers of pastel-hued fancy sapphires.

This peach sapphire ring features an oval-cut stone in a bezel setting at its centre. For example, a daisy-shaped surround of round diamonds frames the main stone in a distinctly vintage style.
