Adrien’s brief
Adrien wanted an elegant, timeless engagement ring that would place all the focus on an exceptional centre stone. His choice naturally fell on a teal sapphire, prized for its shifting hues and unique character. To highlight its brilliance without drawing attention away from it, we envisioned a solitaire flanked by two round diamonds. Platinum emerged as the ideal metal thanks to its naturally white tone, which perfectly reveals the colours of the sapphire.

The 1.72-carat teal sapphire
The central teal sapphire weighs 1.72 carats and was cut into an oval by our partner lapidaries. Unheated, it originates from Madagascar, a source renowned for producing some of the world’s finest teal sapphires. This variety of sapphire captivates with its natural hues ranging between deep blue and intense green. Depending on the light, the stone reveals shifting reflections that lend it a unique personality. Highly sought-after in contemporary jewellery, teal sapphires offer an original alternative to traditional blue sapphires while retaining the exceptional qualities of this gemstone family. Finally, its hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale ensures excellent resistance to everyday wear. All our stones are certified by independent or international gemmological laboratories.
