Christine’s brief

Christine contacted us to create a bespoke anniversary ring using one of her personal stones. She wished to reset an exceptional, unheated blue sapphire in a modern, refined design. In addition, the setting was to enhance the centre stone while bringing light to the shoulders. Our workshop therefore designed a piece combining purity of line with contemporary refinement.

The 3-carat blue sapphire

The central blue sapphire weighs 3 carats and displays a particularly intense deep blue colour. Indeed, this stone is unheated, which is a major advantage in today’s high jewellery market. Its saturated royal blue hue is characteristic of the finest natural sapphires sought after by connoisseurs. Furthermore, its hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale ensures excellent resistance to everyday wear. This 3 ct size offers a remarkable presence on the finger and striking brilliance.

The blue sapphire ring in detail

This blue sapphire ring features a centrally positioned oval-cut stone set with claws. For example, a cluster of natural round diamonds adorns each shoulder of the ring, multiplying the brilliance of the main stone. The diamonds provide a luminous contrast that enhances the depth of the royal blue. In addition, the 750/000 white gold setting echoes the stone’s cool tones and accentuates its chromatic intensity. The overall design thus creates a perfect balance between refined modernity and confident presence.
