Oval-cut diamond and sapphire ring for Alanna
The oval-cut diamond and sapphire ring created for Alanna illustrates Bonnot Paris’ bespoke expertise. This creation showcases a magnificent 0.8-carat natural oval-cut diamond, E/VVS1 quality and 3EX cut. Moreover, this piece reflects our expertise in creating unique designs for each client. Thus, it bears witness to the diversity of our high jewellery creations.
Alanna’s brief
Alexandre contacted us to create an exceptional engagement ring to give to his wife Alanna. He was looking for an exceptional natural diamond, set in a romantic and symbolic creation. Furthermore, the setting had to enhance the centre stone with a surround of diamonds and sapphires, bringing grace and depth. Thus, our workshop designed a piece combining the diamond’s purity with chromatic contrast.
The 0.8-carat natural diamond
The centre diamond weighs 0.8 carats and boasts exceptional gemological quality. Indeed, its VVS1 clarity and E colour place it among the most prestigious diamonds on the market. Its 3EX cut (excellent cut, polish and symmetry) ensures maximum sparkle and unrivalled brilliance. Moreover, its hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale makes it the hardest stone in the world, perfectly suited to everyday wear. The natural diamond remains the most iconic stone for engagement rings worldwide.
The oval-cut diamond and sapphire ring in detail
This oval-cut diamond and sapphire ring features a centrally positioned oval-cut centre stone in a claw setting. For example, a surround of pear- and marquise-cut diamonds creates a graceful movement around the main stone. This composition is punctuated by two deep blue sapphires, bringing a subtle and captivating chromatic contrast. Moreover, the 750/000 yellow gold setting echoes the warmth of the metal and enhances the diamond’s brilliance. Thus, the ensemble creates a perfect balance between eternal purity and a touch of colour.
