This creation highlights a central oval-cut diamond surrounded by an asymmetrical composition of marquise and round diamonds. In addition, this piece reflects our expertise in reimagined Art Deco-inspired rings. It thus bears witness to the diversity of our high jewellery creations.
Tidiane contacted us to create an exceptional engagement ring combining refinement, creativity and elegance. During our meeting, he expressed his wish for a creation off the beaten track, with a distinctive design that departed from classic solitaire rings. In addition, the setting was to play on contrasting shapes to bring refinement and visual softness. Our workshop therefore designed an Art Deco-inspired piece with marquise diamonds arranged asymmetrically on either side of the central diamond.
The central diamond features an oval cut, one of the most sought-after cuts for engagement rings. Its elongated shape visually lengthens the finger and reveals exceptional brilliance. Its exceptional gemmological quality is reflected in its deep lustre and purity. Moreover, its hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale makes it the hardest stone in the world, perfectly suited to everyday wear. Natural diamond remains the most iconic stone for engagement rings around the world.
This Art Deco oval diamond engagement ring with a marquise diamond surround features an architecture inspired by reimagined Art Deco codes. For example, the central oval diamond is surrounded by marquise and round diamonds arranged asymmetrically to create a sense of movement. The F/VVS diamonds represent exceptional quality, combining exceptional whiteness with near-perfect clarity. In addition, the 750/000 yellow gold setting echoes the warmth of the metal and enhances the contrast with the whiteness of the diamonds. The ensemble thus creates a perfect balance between vintage stylistic reference and contemporary expression.
