This creation showcases an emerald-cut emerald of Zambian origin, framed by two triangular-cut diamonds. Furthermore, this piece is part of our expertise in reimagined trilogy rings. Lena’s brief

Lena contacted us to create a distinctive engagement ring showcasing an exceptional emerald. She was looking for a stone with the bluish hue characteristic of the finest emeralds, combined with remarkable clarity. In addition, the setting had to remain understated to allow the stone to express itself in all its chromatic purity. Our workshop therefore designed a reimagined trilogy design with two triangular-cut diamonds framing the central stone and lending it an elegant geometric aspect.

The Zambian emerald

The central emerald comes from Zambia, one of the most prestigious origins for this green stone. Indeed, Zambian emeralds are distinguished by their slightly bluish hue and greater clarity than Colombian emeralds, which are often more included. Its unique colour combines a deep green with a bluish nuance sought after by discerning enthusiasts. Moreover, its hardness of 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale requires particular care when worn. Emerald remains one of the four cardinal gemstones, alongside diamond, sapphire and ruby.

This Zambian emerald, triangular diamonds and rose gold ring features a trilogy composition with geometric inspiration. For example, the central emerald-cut stone is prong-set in a dominant position, framed by two triangular-cut diamonds pointing towards the main stone. The F/VVS diamonds represent exceptional quality, combining outstanding whiteness with near-perfect clarity. In addition, the 750/000 rose gold setting creates a warm chromatic contrast that makes the emerald’s bluish green shimmer. The overall design thus creates a perfect balance between the classic trilogy reference and contemporary geometry.
