This aquamarine engagement ring illustrates Bonnot Paris’s bespoke expertise. This creation showcases a beautiful 1.92-carat unheated marquise aquamarine from the mines of Mozambique. Corentin approached us to design an engagement ring featuring a delicate stone: an unheated aquamarine from Mozambique. He was looking for a rather blue stone, less intense than a sapphire and unheated, set in a creation with diamonds. This is why he chose a round diamond pavé for a light and delicate accompaniment.
The central aquamarine weighs 1.92 carats and comes from Mozambique. Indeed, this stone is unheated, which is a major asset in today’s jewellery market. Its unique colour combines predominantly blue notes characteristic of this variety of beryl. Moreover, its hardness of 8 on the Mohs scale ensures excellent resistance to everyday wear. Blue aquamarine in the “Santa Maria” colour remains a beautiful alternative to sapphires light blues for enthusiasts because of its intense brilliance. The stone is cut in a marquise shape with multiple facets to enhance its radiance.
The centre stone is accompanied by natural F/VS quality diamonds. The aquamarine is set with pointed prongs. The entire creation is crafted in 18k yellow gold. This delicate ensemble brings finesse, characterised by the precise craftsmanship of our professional workshops. Thus, the whole creates a perfect balance between romantic symbolism and responsible commitment.
