The trilogy emerald ring created for Philippe illustrates Bonnot Paris's bespoke expertise. This creation showcases a magnificent 1.28-carat cushion-cut emerald from Zambia. Moreover, this piece forms part of our expertise in creating unique pieces for each client. As such, it reflects the diversity of our high jewellery creations.
Philippe contacted us to create an engagement ring set with an emblematic stone. He was looking for an exceptional emerald, mounted in a classic creation with a timeless trilogy style. Furthermore, the setting had to enhance the central stone by framing it with briolette-cut diamonds. Our workshop therefore created a design combining jewellery tradition and refined elegance.
The central emerald weighs 1.28 carats and comes from Zambia, one of the most prestigious origins for this stone. Indeed, Zambian emeralds stand out for their deep green colour and excellent clarity. Its unique colour combines intense shades of green characteristic of the finest stones from this origin. Moreover, its hardness of 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale makes it a stone suitable for daily wear with care. Emerald remains one of the four major precious stones, alongside diamond, sapphire and ruby.
This trilogy emerald ring features a centrally positioned, claw-set cushion-cut stone. For example, two pairs of natural round F/VS diamonds frame the main stone on either side in a trilogy composition. F/VS diamonds represent one of the highest qualities on the market, combining exceptional whiteness with remarkable clarity. In addition, the 750/000 yellow gold setting echoes the warmth of the stone and enhances its deep green hue. The ensemble thus creates a perfect balance between jewellery tradition and timeless elegance.
